There’s a great assortment of movies releasing this weekend, including the Robbie Williams biopic Better Man, directed by Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman). Den of Thieves 2: Pantera – Big Nick (Gerard Butler) is back on the hunt in Europe and closing in on Donnie (O’Shea Jackson Jr.), who is embroiled in the treacherous and unpredictable world of diamond thieves and the infamous Panther mafia, as they plot a massive heist of the world’s largest diamond exchange. Better Man – The meteoric rise, dramatic fall, and remarkable resurgence of British pop superstar Robbie Williams, one of the greatest entertainers of all time. The film follows Robbie’s journey from childhood, to being the youngest member of chart-topping boyband Take That, through to his unparalleled achievements as a record-breaking solo artist – all the while confronting the challenges that stratospheric fame and success can bring. Robbie Williams reveals that he did some of the motion capture work to play himself in the biopic Better Man. He’s seen the film with different audiences in different cities and countries and talks about about the strange things some audiences have found funny while watching the film.
Director Michael Gracey reveals how he was inspired by Robbie Williams to do a biopic about him. He also tells why he decided to portray Robbie as a chimpanzee in the film Better Man instead of a lion, which was how Robbie pictured himself at first, and how they needed to change the CGI model to be more human.
Young Werther – An aspiring writer (Douglas Booth) stumbles across the love of his life (Alison Pill) only to discover that the young woman is engaged to a successful, attractive young lawyer (Patrick J. The Room Next Door – Ingrid (Julianne Moore) and Martha (Tilda Swinton) were close friends in their youth, when they worked together at the same magazine.
