The new drama Here starring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright is releasing, as well as the animated comedy HitPig! Have a look at all the films coming to theaters this weekend and watch the trailers to decide what you want to see at the movies. ~Alexandra Heilbron
Here – Multiple generations of couples and families inhabit the same home over the course of a century. The story travels through generations, capturing the human experience in its purest form. Based on the graphic novel by Richard McGuire, the movie stars Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. Click here for showtimes.
Hitpig! – Hitpig (voice of Jason Sudeikis) is a clever pig who makes a living catching escaped animals and returning them to their owners. His next job is to return a dancing elephant to a maniacal Vegas showman (voice of Rainn Wilson). Absolution – An aging gangster (Liam Neeson) attempts to reconnect with his children and rectify the mistakes in his past, but the criminal underworld won’t loosen their grip willingly. Click here for showtimes.
Emilia Pérez – A Mexican lawyer is offered an unusual job to help a notorious cartel boss retire and transition into living as a woman, fulfilling a long-held desire. Playing in select cities; debuts on Netflix November 13. Click here for showtimes.
Levels – Ash (Cara Gee) and Joe (Peter Mooney) meet at a bookstore and begin seeing each other. One day when Ash and Joe are enjoying coffee at an outdoor café, a man walks by with a gun and shoots Ash — then disappears into thin air. Director Adam Stern and his stars, Cara Gee and Peter Mooney talk about their new sci-fi action thriller, Levels. They discuss the new technology featured in the film, while Cara reveals the weird experience she had with Siri that made her decide to remove the AI assistant from her phone.
