Madame Web – In this standalone origin story of one of Marvel’s most enigmatic heroines, Cassandra Webb (Dakota Johnson) is a paramedic in Manhattan who may have clairvoyant abilities. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women (Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced) destined for powerful futures… if they can all survive a deadly present. Perfect Days – Hirayama (Kôji Yakusho) is a cleaner of public toilets in Tokyo. He lives alone in a small house, his days going by in endless monotony, that is, until his niece, who has run away, comes to stay with him. The Taste of Things – France, 1885. Talented cook Eugenie (Juliette Binoche) has worked for the gourmet Dodin Bouffant for the last two decades. Their mutual admiration turns into a romance, but Eugenie is fond of her freedom and has turned down Dodin’s many proposals of marriage, so he decides to do something he has never done before: cook for her. The Peasants – Jagna (Kamila Urzędowska) is a peasant who likes to make paper cutouts and take care of helpless animals. She’s also a beauty who attracts many a village lad. In a community where woman are essentially bought and sold, her mother forces Jagna to marry Maciej Boryna, a much older widower who is also the area’s richest farmer.
