One of the most anticipated films of the year is hitting theaters this weekend. Oscar-winning director Bong Joon Ho (Parasite) returns to the director’s chair with his latest film Mickey 17, while families in search of some all-ages entertainment can enjoy the new independent animated film Night of the Zoopocalypse and A Sloth Story. ~Ryan Donahue
Mickey 17 — Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson) has found himself in a job that demands the ultimate commitment… to die, for a living. As a disposable employee, Mickey is sent on an expedition to colonize an ice world. After one iteration dies, a new body is regenerated with most of his memories intact. Night of the Zoopocalypse — When a meteor crash-lands into the Colepepper Zoo, it releases a virus that starts turning all the animals into zombies. In the wake of the disaster, a young wolf named Gracie (Gabbi Kosmidis) must team up with the mountain lion Dan (David Harbour) to lead a team of surviving animals to stop the virus and rescue the zoo.
