New Movies in Theaters on Christmas Day!

All the Money in the World posterMerry Christmas to all of our readers! Two new movies are opening today, in addition to the six that opened last week, so there’s a lot to choose from if you want to see a movie today, Boxing Day or anytime during the holidays.

All the Money in the World – When 16-year-old John Paul Getty III is kidnapped in Rome in 1973, his mother, Gail Harris (Michelle Williams), desperately tries to convince his miserly billionnaire grandfather Jean Paul Getty (Christopher Plummer), the richest man in the world, to pay the ransom of $17 million. Getty refuses but his employee Fletcher Chase (Mark Wahlberg) gets involved in helping Gail get her son back. Opens wide today. Click here for showtimes.

Molly’s Game – Molly Bloom (Jessica Chastain), an Olympic-class skier who runs the world’s most exclusive high-stakes poker game, is arrested by FBI agents. Because she has ties to the Russian mob, she’s offered complete immunity in exchange for hard drives that will bring down the mob. However, Molly has a different plan and isn’t willing to give up. Downsizing – Scientists develop technology to shrink humans permanently to five inches in an effort to combat global over-population. Paul (Matt Damon) and his wife Audrey (Kristen Wiig) decide to undergo the procedure, but unfortunately, downsizing comes with a new list of complications, including Audrey backing out at the last minute.
