Two very different movies are releasing across Canada today — Nine Lives, the story of a man who accidentally is turned into a cat, and Suicide Squad — possibly the most anticipated movie of summer!
Suicide Squad: The super villains are finally in theaters! When the White House becomes concerned about the safety of the President, Intelligence Officer Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) has a plan. She wants to get a team of super villains together and have them fight against possible threats to the country — in exchange for reduced prison sentences. The group includes master assassin Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), The Joker (Jared Leto), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), El Diablo (Jay Hernandez) and Slipknot (Adam Beach). Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman) is put in charge, and he soon finds out the villains are a handful. Click here for showtimes.

Nine Lives: Tom Brand (Kevin Spacey) is a wealthy businessman who happens to be one of the most powerful men in the world, which leaves him very little time for his family. With time running out to choose a present for his daughter for her 11th birthday, he stops off to get her a cat like she requested, despite the fact that he hates cats. On the way to the birthday party, Tom has a car accident and wakes up in the body of the cat, who is named Mr. Fuzzypants. Unless he can make things right with his family, Tom may just remain a cat.
