This week offers comedy favorites as the Barden Bellas and Dwayne Johnson take over on the Blu-ray front. Here are the new home entertainment releases this week.

Pitch Perfect 3 – The Bellas (Anna KendrickRebel WilsonBrittany SnowAnna Campfind themselves struggling to find a job as the market doesn’t have many opportunities for acapella singers. To keep the group together, they jump at the chance to reunite for an overseas USO tour, although they first have to face competition from other performers.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle – Four teenagers — Spencer, Bethany, Martha and Anthony a.k.a. “Fridge” — are sucked into an old video game console called Jumanji. They are shocked to learn that they’ve transformed into the bodies of their avatars. Spencer becomes Dr. Smolder Bravestone (Dwayne Johnson), Fridge turns into Moose Finbar (Kevin Hart), Martha is Ruby Roundhouse (Karen Gillan) and Bethany is Professor Shelly Oberon (Jack Black). Stuck in a jungle with dangerous creatures that can kill them, they have to discover what their special skills are in order to survive the game.

Downsizing – Norwegian scientists develop the technology to shrink humans to five inches in an effort to combat global overpopulation. The permanent procedure also provides the bonus of a more economical lifestyle, since smaller things cost less. Hoping for a better life, Paul (Matt Damon) and his wife Audrey (Kristen Wiig) decide to abandon their old lives, but Audrey backs out at the last minute.

The Vanishing of Sidney Hall – Sidney Hall (Logan Lerman) is a gifted high school student who wants to write a novel that will shake people up. He writes his book, which is based on a death. The book quickly reaches number one on the bestseller list, and stays there for many months. He’s suddenly famous, but he keeps seeing the dead man, now years older, everywhere he goes. Haunted, his relationships fall apart and Sidney disappears without a trace. A detective (Kyle Chandler) decides to solve the mystery of the disappearance of Sidney Hall.
