Luce starring Octavia Spencer and Tim Roth on DVD

Two movies are available on DVD today — the drama Luce, which enjoyed a limited run in theaters last August, and the straight-to-video thriller Them That Follow. Check out all the details on each film below.

Luce – Amy (Naomi Watts) and Peter Edgar (Tim Roth) adopted their son from war-torn Eritrea 10 years earlier. With a lot of love and structure in his life, Luce Edgar (Kelvin Harrison Jr.) has become a model student beloved in his community of Arlington, Virginia. But when his teacher, Harriet Wilson (Octavia Spencer), accuses him of threatening her, strange things begin to happen.

Them That Follow – Mara (Alice Englert) — the daughter of a preacher (Walton Goggins) — lives deep in the wilds of Appalachia. The family’s religion rejects modern medicine and instead believes in salvation through the handling of poisonous snakes. Mara, who’s engaged, discovers she’s pregnant with another man’s (Thomas Mann) baby, which puts both of them in danger.
