The holiday movie New Year’s Eve topped the box office during the slowest weekend so far of 2011, with an estimated take of $13.7 million (all figures U.S.). After three weekends at the top of the box office, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 dropped to third place, grossing an additional $7.9 million for a total domestic take of $260 million. Tribute users left positive reviews, giving it 4.1 out of 5 stars. The Muppets dropped from second to fourth place, grossing $7.1 million, with a Tribute star rating of 4.2 stars. Finally, the animated feature Arthur Christmas dropped just one spot to round out the top five, earning $6.6 million and 4 stars.
