Nicolas Cage has filed suit against his business manager Samuel J. Levin, claiming he “lined his pockets with several million dollars in business management fees while sending Cage down a path toward financial ruin.” Cage hired Levin in 2001 and since then, has been “forced to sell major assests and investments at a significant loss and is faced with huge tax liabilities because of Levin’s incompetence, misrepresentations and recklessness.” Cage, who earned an estimated $40 million in the past year, has put several of his homes on the market in order to pay his bills. He’s asking for $20 million in damages.
