Nicolas Cage’s stolen comic book found

A rare Superman comic book that was part of a collection stolen from Nicolas Cage in 2000 has been turned over to the Los Angeles Police Department. Action Comics No. 1 — a 1938 comic book featuring Superman lifting a green car over his head as he rescues Lois Lane from kidnappers — was discovered last month in a San Fernando Valley storage locker after a man who claimed to have bought the contents of the abandoned storage container at auction alerted police. The comic, which cost 10 cents in 1938, is now valued at $1.5 million. The police are still looking for the thief and are holding the book as evidence. “We have it protected in a safe and it isn’t going anywhere until we finish our investigation,” Detective Donald Hrycyk said Monday. Cage, who bought the comic in 1995, said in a statement: “It is divine providence that the comic was found and I am hopeful that the heirloom will be returned to my family.”

Since he filed for bankrupcy last year, that might get him out of the hole and he can make decent movies again. Remember Lord of War and The Weather Man?

Yeah, that should clear out some of his debt when and if he ever gets it back.

when Cage tried hard to be a part of re-boot Superman franchise and he said he is a super-fan, I am impressed. Named his kid a Kryptonian name and owns this iconic comic (say that 5x fast lol)..wow.

And Germain, Lord of War was awesome. And Weather Man sucked. He’s hit and mostly miss a lot lately.

He miss a lot because he says yes to anything because he needs the money. Matchstick Men was great also but I agree that he mostly does shitty movies.
    Gone in 60 seconds
    Windtalkers
    Ghostrider
Indiana Jones rip off (I forget the name)

    All bad

Great news! They found Nicolas Cage’s autobiography. Nicolas Cage being Superman of course. How else can anybody make so many movies in so many genres? His autobiography is so epic, it had to be drawn in picture/comic form.

What’s up w/ all the famous actors committing spouse abuse acts- Nicholas Cage should be better than that.
