Nicole Kidman drops out of movie

Nicole Kidman, who’s getting a name for accepting roles and then dropping out of them (Panic Room, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Producers and Manderlay, to name a few), has pulled out of Woody Allen‘s latest movie, in which she would have starred alongside Antonio Banderas, Anthony Hopkins and her best friend, Naomi Watts. The untitled film was due to begin filming in London this summer. In the meantime, Kidman has shot a new television commercial in India for Schweppes, alongside Slumdog Millionaire child star Rubina Ali, directed by Shekhar Kapur and produced by Ridley Scott.
