Nicole Kidman hopes daughter will get “twang”

Australia star Nicole Kidman told the Tennessean that she hopes her daughter, Sunday, will develop a southern “twang.” She and her husband, Keith Urban, recently moved to rural Tennessee. “I’m glad that [Sunday] is able to say she’s born and bred in Nashville and Tennessee,” she says. “I hope she has a Southern accent.” They’ve settled in a small rural town just outside Nashville, and claim to be enjoying the slower way of life. “We are pretty simple,” Kidman said. “I suppose a lot of it is we like spending time with our baby, so we grab something or stay at home and cook. We never get bothered, and the people are incredibly friendly and easygoing. It really has been a perfect match for me. I don’t want to go on too much about it to the rest of the world because then more people will come here. It’s a secret. Keith keeps saying, ‘Shush, shush, keep this a secret’, because it’s so beautiful.”
