Nicole Kidman won’t talk about Scientology

During a recent interview, Nicole Kidman refused to share her thoughts on Scientology. On their website, the BBC put up a video of the actress being interviewed. The interview aired Sunday on The Andrew Marr Show — however, the discussion about Scientology was deleted from the aired segment. During the uncomfortable exchange, Marr asks Kidman to discuss a topic that she’s never gone on record about, that of Scientology. The actress, visibly upset, refused to talk about the controversial religion, saying, “I’m here to publicize Nine. If I was here to do an exposé on myself then I’d be like, ‘Let’s go’, but I have no interest in discussing any of that.” Kidman was previously married to actor Tom Cruise, who is a devout follower of the Church of Scientology. ~Audrey Gélinas
