Nicole Richie smells like an elephant

Nicole Richie is a big fan of elephants and told Ryan Seacrest in 2005 that she considers them “beautiful animals” and feels that they’re “really good luck.” She even had an elephant attend her wedding in 2010 to Joel Madden, saying the pachyderm’s presence would bring “good energy.” So it shouldn’t have been too big a surprise when Nicole tweeted a photo of herself with an elephant, writing: “We smell the same.” Nicole was recently featured on the TV show Fashion Star as a mentor. Nicole released her own fragrance this year, titled Nicole, which includes notes of blackberry, cashmere, sandalwood and golden amber (no mention of elephants). While launching the perfume, she said, “It’s very much a reflection of my individual style – a spiritual balance of femininity and bohemian. It’s the notion that fashion can be easy, comfortable and offer juxtaposition between casual and luxury.”
