No one wants to play Lindsay Lohan’s husband

Lindsay Lohan has been signed to play Kim Gotti–the wife of John Gotti Jr.–in the biopic Gotti: Three Generations, but no one seems to want to play her husband. James Franco, Robert Downey Jr. and Johnny Depp have all either turned down the role or cited work conficts. Executive producer Marty Ingles told the New York Post’s Page Six: “Franco turned it down and Depp, Jeremy Renner and Downey Jr. were too busy with other movies. We are going to have to put out an urgent casting call. Junior is a big part of this movie. It is very much his story.” Besides Lohan, John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Ella Bleu Travolta, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci are all confirmed for the film, which will begin filming at the end of the year and is scheduled to hit theaters in 2013.

I would love this role. Get to star next to some of the biggest names in Hollywood and play Lindsay Lohan’s husband… Dream come true for me. I would totally jump on this role.

Joe Pesci and Al Pacino in a film about Italian gangsters? Way to stretch your abilities.

Ha Ha where is De Niro in this? lol. Maybe he has a cameo.
I wouldn’t play her husband either. Probably get AIDS just from pretending to have sex with with. But yeah Downey Jr. had/has drug issues, I’m sure he would want to stay away from that element a little.
But I do think if done right, it could be a modern day Godfather movie with the right director attached to it.

the reason depp and downey jr have turned the role down has nothing to do with lohan , its all about those two guys in particular knowing they wont be getting top billing in this movie !

Lindsay Lohan in the same movie as Pacino, never thought i’d see that. Hire a gay guy that doesn’t take drugs or drink, he might play her husband.
