Now You See Me on DVD and Blu-ray

Now You See Me features a game of cat and mouse as the FBI struggles to keep up with “The Four Horsemen,” a bunch of extremely talented illusionists. Rising star J. Daniel Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), mentalist Merritt Osbourne (Woody Harrelson), escape artist Henley Reeves (Isla Fisher) and street magician Jack Wilder (Dave Franco) team up to pull off a series of heroic heists that leave audiences bewildered. And before you ask, they only steal from corrupt business leaders and pass the cash on to members of the audience. You will root for these four illusionists as they keep you on your toes and, just like any other magic trick, you wonder how they pull it off.

As investigators Dylan (Mark Ruffalo) and Alma (Mélanie Laurent) struggle to keep up with the always-one-step-ahead magicians, there are more unexpected twists and turns that leave you on the edge of your seat.  Eisenberg’s portrayal of Atlas, a cocky and charismatic magician, is certainly well-played and a major highlight of the film. Special features on the Blu-ray include an extended director’s cut, featuring 16 minutes of never-before-seen footage, audio commentary with producer Bobby Cohen and director Louis Leterrier (theatrical cut only), Now You See Me Revealed featurette, A Brief History of Magic featurette and deleted scenes. Also releasing this week on DVD/Blu-ray are: Empire State, The Iceman, The Lords of Salem and Violeta Went to Heaven.
