OJ faces life in prison

O.J. Simpson was freed on $125,000 bail after spending three days in jail. He was arrested on Sunday for his part in an alleged sports memorabilia armed robbery at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas last week. Before letting Simpson go, Judge Joe Bonaventure ordered Simpson to surrender his passport. Simpson is charged with kidnapping, robbery, burglary and assault with a deadly weapon. If found guilty of first-degree kidnapping, he could get life in prison. Outside the court, hecklers shouted “Justice for Nicole, justice for Ron,” referring to Simpson’s acquittal of the murders of his ex-wife and her friend. Simpson is scheduled to return to court in October.
