Lindsay Wagner, who played Jaime Sommers in the original 1970s Bionic Woman TV series, says the new Bionic Woman series, starring British actress Michelle Ryan, is very different from the one she starred in. “It’s very much like what shows are today—kind of dark and broody and violent. It’s not at all what we were doing,” explains Wagner. “We were doing a show for kids intentionally and making it fun in such a way that adults could enjoy it too.”
