Paris Hilton’s movies don’t do very well at the box office and are hardly seen by anyone, so it should come as no surprise she is being sued by film producers for her movie’s lack of success. Her most recent film, National Lampoon’s Pledge This! was a huge disappointment at the overseas box office and now Worldwide Entertainment Group is suing Hilton for $75,000, because they claim she did not fulfill the “reasonable promotion and publicity” part of her agreement. The heiress was paid $1 million to appear in and “executive produce” the film, which the producers are probably regretting. The film was so bad it wasn’t even released in the U.S. and went straight to DVD. Her subsequent film, The Hottie and the Nottie, was only released on 111 screens in the U.S. and made less than $28,000, which doesn’t even cover her salary.
