Paris Jackson rejected by rehab center

By Alexandra Heilbron on July 4, 2013 | 16 Comments

Paris Jackson, 15, who has been in UCLA Medical Center since she cut her wrists in an attempt to commit suicide, has been rejected by a rehab facility. Doctors at the hospital won’t allow Paris to go home, because they believe she’s still a suicide risk and may try to harm herself again, so her mother, Debbie Rowe, has been checking out rehab facilities for her.  She found a top juvenile facility in Utah, but the center turned Paris down, because they were worried they’d be bombarded by paparazzi, putting the privacy of their current patients at risk. It’s believed Paris tried to take her own life because she was bullied on Facebook by people who left nasty comments about her father, Michael Jackson. Meanwhile, Paris’ uncle, Jermaine Jackson, told TMZ Paris just needs a little discipline. “[Paris] has to learn there are certain guidelines when you grow up being a teenager,” he told them. “There are rules.”

“When you grow up being a teenager?”

Is it really so shocking she’s such a mess? Who knows what horrors these poor kids witnessed in that household. and when you consider they’ll never know the identity of their real father, it just adds up to a recipe for disaster.

Does Jermaine really believe that a suicidal teenager can be cured by setting rules. She needs more then rules, she need to be heard and helped, emotionally & psychologically.

As for that rehab center turning Paris away, why don’t they just admit her under a false name.

Is Jermaine the same uncle that let his kids bully and steal from Michael’s kids when their dad first passed away. The Jackson family is a bunch of leaches sucking away at the fortune and fame of the two talented members of the family, Janet and Michael, that made it to the top while the rest of them failed at everything they tried.

The girl is in pain, and frankly who wouldn’t be after everything. Someone needs to step up and help her before her next ‘attempt’ works. Being a teenager sucks anyway, and to be so emotionally damaged on top is a timebomb. I hope she gets the help she needs, after trying to commit suicide myself at 14 and 16 I can sympathise with the poor kid.

Everyone has doubts and especially teenagers. I am glad her Mom has now placed herself again in her children’s lives. She does not appear to seek Fame or Fortune and just wants her kids to be okay.
I agree with the one comment about registering Paris under a false name to get her help.
I do not agree with the person talking about Paris not knowing who her Father is. She was raised knowing Michael was her Father. If she is upset about the comments made about him she will have to learn to grow a thicker skin. Her Father sheltered his kids from the press all their lives. With his death they had to face the press “head on” without any guidance to get them through this. Michael is no longer here to defend his reputation so he he is an easy target. Those who defended him when he was alive who have changed their tune are doing this to get some recognition not realizing the tole it is taking on his kids. Paris can get her lineage information through her Mom and answers regarding her past decisions leaving her children to be raised by Michael. With their Mom’s love and proper medical help Paris might just survive and surprise us all one day with a talent as unique as her Dad’s.

If I was her I’d capitalize on her situation and create a youtube channel telling the truth period on how she feels and what is going on and maybe get into a type of arts so she can express herself more openly, painting, singing, dancing, etc,

Checking her in under a false name is hardly going to work when other people who work there or who are receiving treatment are for sure going to call the media when they see her. Its not like people don’t know what she looks like.

The Jackson family has been a self-serving train wreck from day one. Little wonder that Michael’s children are having to deal with the fallout from such a dysfunctional bunch of bottom-feeders. The mother is little better, having taken a whopping payout to be artificially inseminated to give Michael his children. There will be no happily ever after for these kids. If they live long enough to break free of the circus, they may have a chance. Otherwise, there will be more obituaries to follow.

The problem with Jermaine is that he was always “jealous” of Michael’s talent from Day One. Also, he thought that when he Married Berry Gordy’s Oldest Daughter Hazel Joy at Nineteen in 1973 he was going to be the next big star in the Family.

If that weren’t enough to beat The Band, he married and Divorced Randy’s Ex-Wife which means that his Children and Randy’s are Cousins/Half Siblings. Can you believe that.

Michael stepped up and took care of his Family Financially and one of Jermaine’s Kids gave poor Blanket a hard time which made me very angry.

Paris just isn’t any child, she is the Child of a Music Icon, I wish that someone like Dr. Phil could help her, he’d be the best guy if you ask me.

I bought his Lifelessons Workbook and it did wonders for me.

She shouldn’t go out of the hosp until she herself is ready. She’s got all the time in the world for rehab after she regains her health

Aww this is so hart braking. Being a teenager is tough, but having to put up with all the inappropriate garbage that people say or assume about her Dad ,must be really tearing her apart.
Paris needs to know others have been threw despair and problems . life gets better Really it dose
Hang in there and make the best of your self
