Paris settles out of court

Paris HiltonParis Hilton has paid approximately $2 million to settle out of court, according to the New York Post. Just as jury selection was about to begin in Zeta Graff’s defamation suit against the celebutante, Hilton decided to keep it out of court by paying up. The suit originated two years ago when Graff alleged that Paris had planted a story on gossip site Page Six that claimed Graff had ripped a necklace from Hilton’s neck and then had been through out of a London nightclub.

I just love how Paris has been dumping the sordid past in favor of a future bright with promise and possibility. A mere $2 million out of a possible $10 million? Nice.
