Paul Walker’s brother asked to complete Fast & Furious 7

The late Paul Walker‘s younger, look-alike brother has reportedly been asked to step in to complete remaining scenes for Fast & Furious 7, as a tribute to Paul. The 40-year-old actor was involved in a fatal car accident in Santa Clarita, California two weeks ago. Cody Walker, 25, has worked as a movie stuntman and resides in Oregon, but is currently living in California with his mother to comfort her since Paul’s death. A source close to production told the Daily Mail that “producers had a string of meetings” about the completion of the film.

The source said, “They soon realized they needed someone who looked like Paul to finish the movie and that’s when they approached his nearly identical brother, Cody. They can shoot Cody from behind and at distance and if it’s a shot they need Paul’s face in close up they can CGI it later on. If Cody agrees it’s because he wants to honor his brother’s memory. There are many details that still need to be worked out, but right now the family and cast and crew are all still grieving.”

The Hollywood Reporter says script revisions are in the works to retire Paul’s character in the movie franchise. The initial release date for the seventh installment was July 14, 2014, but there has been no word yet on when production will resume. ~Jennifer Yoo

They did the same for Aaliyah “Queen of the Damned” when she died. Her brother stepped in to finish the movie. I think it would be a great tribute for his brother. But it’s a bit too soon to ask him. RIP Paul Walker

Remember when Brandon Lee died during the production of the Crow? They didnt get a look alike, They took already shot footage and inserted it in the film digitally. They were able to do that in 1995-96… They could make a whole movie with Paul Walker in it if they wanted. This is just Publicity.

“Oh they took his Brother to finish his swan song… How sweet” = $$$$$$$
    Nothing More.

I think it would be great to have Cody step in to finish the movie.

I think it is a great idea to have his brother Cody to step in and finish the movie. To me i don’t think Vin Diesel should do another the fast and the furious 7. The action scenes is not as good as fast five. I been a fan for 2 fast 2 furious, fast and the furious 4 and fast five. Vin Diesel should of left the movie up to fast five. Fast five was the best action film ever. The more you do with these car movies the more of it it is going to fail.

6 movies is enough, come up with a new original idea for a new franchise, this one is over.
