Paula Abdul predicts American Idol‘s final four

Paula AbdulAmerican Idol judge Paula Abdul revealed her favorite contestants on FOX’s The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet. She predicted the final four left in the competition will be Ireland-born Carly Smithston, Australian-born Michael Johns, 17-year-old David Archuleta and rocker David Cook.  She also says she has the most difficult role of the judges, in trying to critcize without tearing down the contestants. Viewers may have noticed that fellow judge Simon Cowell often tries to distract her while she’s talking, so she’s learned how to “somehow split my brain in half and cancel the interface that has an accent.”

I certainly don’t envy Paula; kudos to her for handling a difficult job with dignity and grace.

The auditions are awesome, I nearly bust a gut this season during the auditions! But for some reason I have actually followed this season through, and I totally agree with the four she has named.
It would be hard to sit beside Simon, but really he makes the show.

I could definitely handle sitting next to Simon!! I would be ROFLMAO at all of his comments!! It would be totally awesome! TOTALLY!

If not for “American Idol” there’d be no one worth listening to today.

Well, Nancy, what if Simon directed his nasty comments at you? I love him and laugh my head off almost every time he opens his mouth, but that is one reason why I would never want to meet him, I honestly don’t think I could take his criticisms very well!

Ah well, I’ve handled worse….right here on Tribute!! LOL

Nah, Simon is not so bad. Seriously, I respect him WAY more than Paula and Randy. His best qualities are that he does not beat around the bush, he is honest and direct…straight to the point. I like that quality, personally.
