Paula Abdul selling home after suicide

Yet another celebrity is putting her home up for sale — but not because she needs the money. American Idol judge Paula Abdul is selling her Sherman Oaks home because an obsessed fan committed suicide outside it last month. Paula Goodspeed, a 30-year-old Abdul fan who failed to get to the next round after auditioning for American Idol in 2006, overdosed on pills in her car, which was parked in front of the house. Abdul’s rep told Us magazine: “Paula simply feels she has outgrown her house, and given the recent public disclosure of her address, it seemed time that she move into a gated community.”
