Oscar-winning The Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson and Guillermo del Toro, who will direct The Hobbit, have announced that they will be writing The Hobbit screenplay themselves, along with two other writers. The Hobbit is a prequel to The Lord of the Rings, and tells how hobbit Bilbo Baggins sets off on a quest accompanied by dwarfs and Gandalf the wizard, to confront a dragon. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jackson and del Toro originally had been searching for a writer to perform the task, but finally decided they were the best contenders to write it. Also on the writing team will be Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens, who wrote the screenplays for the first three Lord of the Rings with Jackson.
Awsome, I hope this one is just as good as the Lord of the Rings. I hope they keep gollum looking the same, because if they change his look, then it will just mess things up.
Loved LOTR – I will look forward to this for sure, really happy to see P. Jackson on board for this one
He’s the synopsis of the movie:The hobbit
walking, more walking, 3 hrs of walking, just like LOTR….watch the Olympics walkiing race and picture them with spears and arrows, same thing.
Some one’s been drinking to much haterade! Plus you took those lines from Clerks 2 (Which is an awsome movie), there may be a lot of walking. But that’s why it’s called an adventure!
who cares? all i can think about right now is going to the orange lounge after work on monday to see Girlicous. i’m so excited. i wish i could be in they’re group.
Can’t wait to see the hobbit! I’ve seen/bought all the LOTR movies, and have read all the books too, they’re awesome!
btw, tammy, welcome back! Haven’t seen any posts on here from you or jennie in quite awhile!
Can’t wait!
