Robert Downey Jr.

Robert Downey Jr. is widely admired for his acting skills. He's won a Golden Globe, been nominated for an Academy Award and has starred in numerous film and TV productions, including Iron Man, Sherlock Holmes and The Judge. Unfortunately, drug and alcohol addictions have also made him infamous in the rehab and policing communities. In 1996, he was sentenced to three years probation for drunk driving and possession of cocaine, heroin, crack and a Magnum revolver. In 2000, he was fired from the TV show Ally McBeal, for which he received an Emmy nomination, for drug-related charges. In 2001, he was once again arrested - this time for being under the influence of drugs. There was no charge however, and he has been reportedly sober and out of trouble since.
