Plastic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch (2013)

This 2013 documentary written and directed by Angela Sun takes audiences to some of the more remote places in the Pacific, such as the Midway Atoll, that have been greatly affected by the growing scourge that is plastics in the ocean. The film also takes a look at humanity’s relationship with plastic and how the consumer product not only pollutes the oceans, but ourselves as well.
