Kung Lao – Daniel Wu (Into The Badlands)

Though the character of Kung Lao didn’t appear in the two ‘90s feature films, he was the central character in the TV series Mortal Kombat: Conquest and was played by Paolo Montalban. However, the popular ancestor of Liu Kang should make his feature film debut with this reboot, and Into The Badlands’ Daniel Wu should be considered. The AMC series has more than shown he’s a capable martial artist, and casting an actor of Wu’s pedigree allows for the potential to spin-off the character for his own solo adventure.
