So when the first trailers for the drama thriller One Hour Photo were released, many were genuinely surprised at just how utterly uneasy Robin Williams could make you feel. Having become a more family friendly figure in the '90s thanks to roles in Aladdin, Mrs. Doubtfire, and Jumanji, his role as Seymour Parrish in One Hour Photo was a jarring experience, but one that Williams excelled with, turning in one of the more captivating performances of his career, which likely inspired Christopher Nolan to cast him in his 2004 thriller Insomnia
