Kevin Spacey – All the Money in the World

When Kevin Spacey was cast in the role of John Paul Getty for Ridley Scott's All the Money in the World, it was a clear indication that Sony envisioned this film as an awards contender. What Sony could not have foreseen was the scandal that revealed Spacey's past transgressions, leading to his effective cancellation from all projects he was involved in. That led to drastic last minute reshoots with Christopher Plummer replacing all of Spacey's scenes so the film could meet its intended release. Plummer would go on to be the film's sole highlight as he garnered a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nod, while Spacey has been relegated to obscurity.
