Justice League (2017)

Just as The Avengers was a defining moment for Marvel Studios and their shared universe of films, Justice League was the same for Warner Bros. and DC, albeit on the opposite spectrum. Looking to play catch up with Marvel, DC's approach saw them take a great many shortcuts in their attempt to reach the same heights, but as has been well documented, the end result just wasn't what they were looking for. The film didn't connect critically or commercially, but did serve as a lesson learned for the film franchise.
