Coherence (2014)

The independent side of cinema has always been home to some of the more interesting stories found on film, and a lot of that is born out of necessity due to financial restraints. The sci-fi thriller Coherence is another prime example of that, having been practically made on a shoe-string budget with only a handful of lesser-known TV actors. In spite of that, it is a taut thriller that will keep you guessing who's who in this mystery of a bottle film. It may leave you scratching your head at the end of the movie, but it's a puzzle worth solving and has had a growing fan base over the years.
