Star Wars: Rogue Squadron

With the Star Wars sequel trilogy now complete, the only new Star Wars title is the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, leaving a void to be filled. While that series has enjoyed tremendous success and popularity, there's a sense of scale that's absent from it due to its television format, leaving this planned anthology film from Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins a golden opportunity for Lucasfilm to further expand the Star Wars universe. The titular Rogue Squadron last appeared as the squadron under Luke Skywalker’s command in The Empire Strikes Back, and are the spiritual successors to the band of Rebels from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It remains to be seen when and where this film will take place, but it's an exciting enterprise for the franchise as they look to tell more stories beyond the battle between Jedi and Sith.
