Taylor Kitsch

In the early part of the decade, Canadian Taylor Kitsch looked primed to be the next big thing in Hollywood. Looking to successfully transition from the small screen to the big screen after success on the TV series Friday Night Lights, Kitsch was banking on a strong 2012. That year would see him lead two tentpole blockbuster films in Disney's live-action adaptation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs book John Carter of Mars and Paramount's live-action adaptation of the board game Battleship, on top of starring in the Oliver Stone crime thriller Savages alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Blake Lively. Unfortunately for Kitsch, each film failed at the box office. Despite that huge setback to his career, Kitsch has gone on to work on notable projects, including supporting roles in critically well-received films such as Lone Survivor and Only the Brave, as well as Season 2 of True Detective and the mini-series Waco.
