Speaking of Mrs. Doubtfire, another one of the film’s young stars quit the acting business fairly early in her career. Lisa Jakub, who played broody teenager Lydia, disappeared from the acting world following an appearance in the 2000 made-for-TV movie, The Royal Diaries: Isabel - Jewel of Castilla. On her blog, Jakub has revealed she left her job for the same reason anyone else might leave their job – it just wasn’t a good fit. It’s as simple as that.
