For his role in Dallas Buyers Club, Jared Leto had a similar experience to that of his co-star, Matthew McConaughey, although his transformation included more than just losing weight. He dropped almost 30 pounds for his role as an HIV-positive transsexual with a drug habit, but also shaved every hair from his body, including his eyebrows and his armpits. Add a shoulder-length wig with bouncy curls and some makeup, and the transformation into his character, Rayon, was complete. Just like his co-star, Jared won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe.
