A hit show is both a reward and a curse. As Doogie Howser, M.D. on the hit sitcom of the same name, Neil Patrick Harris found great success as a child star. But when the show ended in 1993, there was nothing. That is until 2004, when he got a cameo role in the stoner comedy Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, which showcased a different side of him, now as an adult actor. Since then he has a full resumé including the hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother, films like Gone Girl and A Million Ways to Die in the West and stints as the host of several award shows, such as Tony Awards, the Primetime Emmy Awards and the Academy Awards.
