Actors You Didn’t Know Starred in Foreign Films
Although it often seems like Hollywood is the center of the cinematic world, we forget that there are entire industries of film across the globe. Most recently South Korea’s Parasite, which won the Oscar for Best Picture at this year’s Academy Awards, served as a reminder to moviegoers that there’s more to cinema than Hollywood. While filmmakers and actors continue to make their way to Hollywood, the opposite has also been true over the years. In this ever-growing globalized world, Hollywood actors have either sought out bigger paydays and consistent work overseas or sought the opportunity to work with equally acclaimed foreign filmmakers and actors. ~Paolo Maquiraya
