Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (2004)

Test audiences didn't like the original ending to Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, which consisted of the film's baddie White Goodman (Ben Stiller) throwing a triumphant final ball, thus eliminating the Average Joes. Since it wasn't satisfying for audiences who expected the Average Joes to come out on top, the filmmakers conceded and gave the happy ending we all know today.
