Fatal Attraction (1987)

The 1987 thriller, Fatal Attraction, originally had a very different and much more bleak ending. Instead of Dan's (Michael Douglas) wife, Beth (Anne Archer), shooting and killing crazed stalker Alex (Glenn Close) in their bathroom, Alex kills herself and frames Dan as her murderer, which results in his arrest. You can thank test audiences for this change who, upon seeing the original ending, thought it too negative.
