Get Out (2017)

Get Out, the most talked about horror film of 2017, had many endings written, according to the film's director, Jordan Peele. But the one you saw in theaters wasn't the original. Instead of Rod (Lil Rel Howery) showing up to save Chris (Daniel Kaluuya), it was what everyone originally expected: two white cops. A defeated Chris was then sentenced to prison. Advance screening audiences hated the ending, so Peele got the funds he needed for a reshoot and gave audiences the ending that wound up in the movie.
