What better way to kick things off than with the obvious? Annie (Kristen Wiig) becomes the Maid of Honor when her best friend Lillian (Maya Rudolph) gets engaged. The competition to out-do each other intensifies between Annie and a fellow bridesmaid and Lillian learns how far a best friend will go to make her special day perfect.
