Ed Marinaro played football all his life. He began in high school, went on to college football – where he set over 16 NCAA records – to pro football. Before being signed by the Minnesota Vikings, Ed was the runner up for the coveted Heisman Trophy. After six years of playing with the NFL, he traded the pigskin for a script. He starred in several TV shows, including Hill Street Blues. He went back to his roots temporarily when he starred as a football coach in Spike TV’s comedy series, Blue Mountain State (2010 to 2011).
