Its mix of gunplay, martial arts, extended takes, and wide shots put new life into the genre while its sleek style added to the mythos of the titular character brought to life with a pitch perfect performance by Reeves. With its third and final installment set for release this summer, the franchise can cement itself as the best action series of this decade.
