Bonnie and Clyde (1967)

Another two-time Oscar winner, this film chronicles the notoriously violent bank-robbing duo of Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker, portrayed flawlessly by Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway. The outlawed Texas pair, once part of the Barrow Gang, wreaked havoc in the mid-west and the south during the 1930s.

Side note: There was a worldwide resurgence in the purchases of berets after Faye Dunaway donned them in this film.
