Helen Mirren as Queen Elizabeth II

Unlike Cate Blanchett, Helen Mirren did indeed secure Oscar gold for her portrayal of a Queen Elizabeth. Wholly unrecognizable as Britain's current ruler, Helen went to impressive lengths to bring an accurate yet subtle likeness of Elizabeth II to the silver screen in The Queen (2006). Aside from the obvious wardrobe changes, the actress underwent extensive vocal coaching to meticulously reproduce the Queen's unique tenor and delivery of speech. Nailing the monarch's quiet grace and dignity throughout, Helen ultimately produced a deeply understated performance nothing short of exceptional.

The problem with the series is that they don’t show Henry the way he looked.
