Peter O’Toole and Katharine Hepburn as King Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine

The Lion in Winter (1968) is based on James Goldman's treasured Broadway play and features moving performances by its leads, Peter O'Toole and Katharine Hepburn. Portraying King Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine, Peter and Katharine deliver profound performances as a man torn between his sons and the woman at his side eager to influence him.
