Mark Ruffalo – Bruce Banner, The Avengers

Another recasting from the early days of the MCU, Mark Ruffalo took over for the character of Bruce Banner from Ed Norton in 2012’s The Avengers. Ed Norton wasn’t bad in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, but creative and contractual conflicts between the actor and the studio paved the way for this change and since then Ruffalo has endeared fans with his performance in every movie since.
