Erin Moran

A child actress from the time she was five, Erin Moran became a household name when she was cast at age 11 as Joanie, Richie Cunningham's (played by Ron Howard) little sister on the long-running TV series Happy Days. That led to a spinoff sitcom titled Joanie Loves Chachi, co-starring Scott Baio. She only made sporadic appearances on screen following the cancellation of both shows and died of squamous cell carcinoma of the throat on April 22, 2017 in Indiana, where she lived. She was 56 years old.
